One of my career principles is “test your assumptions”.

A quick story.

Many of the light bulbs in our kitchen were not working. So this weekend I went to the hardware store to pick up new ones.

I returned home and put one of the bulbs in.

It didn’t work.

At this point I was thinking that maybe we had an electrical problem. But I decided to start flipping switches just in case.

Do you know why the original bulbs weren’t working?

The dimmer switch was turned off. 😆
